Flexible
StreetBond SB 150AL Pavement Coating works with the normal expansion and contraction of asphalt surfaces and will not peel, delaminate, or shrink-crack when installed according to manufacturer’s specifications.
Durable
StreetBond SB 150AL Pavement Coating's 2-component formulation produces a much more durable surface than typical single component acrylic formulations, especially when the surface is wet. The result is a faster cure and superior life even in vehicular applications.
Color-Stable
StreetBond SB 150AL Pavement Coating uses colorants formulated with pigments that have proven over decades of StreetBond usage to be the most resistant to fading from harsh UV exposure.
Chemical-Resistant
StreetBond SB 150AL Pavement Coating's 2-component formulation provides exceptional chemical resistance compared with typical single component acrylics as evidenced by SB150’s performance on the ASTM 5000-cycle MEK Scrub Test. This formulation also helps the substrate resist damage from fuel, engine oil, and deicing agents.
Skid-Resistant
StreetBond SB 150AL Pavement Coating has excellent friction properties, which provide slip- and skid-resistance for lower-speed applications.
Environmentally Responsible
StreetBond SB 150AL Pavement Coating is water-based, has very low volatile organic content (VOC), and meets Southern California Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) regulations. StreetBond SB 150 can be combined with select StreetBond Colorants to provide a solar-reflective pavement surface that maintains the pavement at a cooler temperature, which can reduce heat-related pavement aging, help mitigate the urban heat island effect, and reduce water runoff temperatures.
